Step 1

Start with a clear review plan

Get recommendations on sources, objectives and criteria, grounded in regulatory guidance. Create your review plan in one click.

Tailored to your device

Start with recommendations relevant to your device and the purpose of your review.

Clear objectives and criteria

Define what the review needs to answer and how your team will assess the evidence. Get guidance on writing clear objectives and criteria that reviewers can apply consistently.

An agreed protocol

Confirm the plan and record your evaluators before screening begins, so your team works against the same criteria.

Step 3

Find the records that answer your questions

Screen against your agreed criteria, with a record of the decisions behind your evidence selection.

Resolve duplicates

Bring results from different sources together. Resolve duplicates before screening, with possible matches flagged for review.

AI screening suggestions

Get inclusion and exclusion proposals supported by reasons and quoted passages, at title and abstract and at full text. Your reviewers decide, with exclusions recorded against your criteria.

Keep large reviews moving

Use bulk actions, filters and highlighted passages to work through records efficiently. Track progress as your team screens.

Step 4

Appraise and extract

Assess study quality and collect the data your review needs, with the supporting passage always within reach.

Appraisal that fits your review

Use established appraisal methods and levels of evidence, or apply your organisation’s own criteria consistently across studies.

Answers linked to their sources

Get proposed answers linked to the supporting passages. Your reviewers check and approve the extracted data.

Full texts alongside your work

Access available open-access PDFs or add full texts from your own collection. Read, highlight and capture relevant figures and tables alongside your review.

Step 5

Synthesise and report

Turn your reviewed evidence into the documents you need to hand over.

DOCPDF

Synthesis supported by the evidence

Bring findings together for each review question. AI proposes the synthesis, and your team reviews and edits it together.

Documents and exports

Export your plan and report to Word or PDF, with a PRISMA 2020 flow diagram. Hand over screening results in Excel, the diagram as an image and references in RIS, BibTeX or EndNote.

Review updates

Update your review without starting over. Keep continuity with earlier work and see what has changed.

Step 6

Stay in control

AI proposes. Your team decides, with a clear record of the work behind the review.

Audit trail

Every change is logged with who made it and when, for each review and across your organisation. Lock the review once it is approved.

Your team sets the use of AI

Choose which AI assistants to use for each review. Your data is not used to train AI models.

Work together

Reviewers and collaborators work together, with access appropriate to their roles.

Bring new reviewers up to speed

Give new team members a clear process to follow, with guidance at each step and the same review criteria as their experienced colleagues.
